Stephanie Becomes A Workout Hero Beast!

(and so do her kids since they are a huge part of her reason why!)

'twas such an action packed week last week with so much awesomeness going down!

I had entire months when I was a newbie Personal Trainer at my very first gym, Highland Fitness -- that didn't have as much excitement as last week...

And here is Workout Hero Club, still in its "baby" phase! Wow, no wonder we're so excited for the future and all the lives changed!

now before I get all distracted going down that rabbit trail, let me stop myself right there to sing the praises of this newly ranked Workout Hero Beast, Stephanie Travis!

So stinking proud and happy for her!

Here's how today's email letter is going to go down, my gentle Workout Hero reader...

... I'll reprint her tribute letter I posted on the social medias here in case you missed it.

Then after that I'll share with you a sort of "secret" I discovered about Stephanie on why it is she is having so much success and why she perfectly represents what it means to be a Workout Hero.

First up -- her tribute letter in case you missed it... feel free to skim through if you read it already. :)

---

She was all set to crush another new high score on her deadlift. For the last month she was seeing astounding progress on all her muscle gains, as well as losing an average of 2-4 pounds a week.

She was already deadlifting over a hundred pounds and did it last week for a smooth looking 8 reps…

… while making it look easy.

  Like it was nothing.

Like she was lifting air with how much power and force she generated from the ground up.

It was the same amount on the bar she mastered before, and in classic Personal Trainer fashion, I tasked her with going for more reps than last time…

She was about halfway through her rep goal when all of a sudden a look of horrific pain happened upon her face.   “Oh-no”, I thought to myself.

“Did she just suffer an injury??”

She setted the significant weight down and shot me a look.   “Are you okay?” I asked.

“What happened? Did we hurt something?”

She responded with, “It’s okay, I just had to pee really bad and didn’t want to go while in mid deadlift.”

With that she tore off her weightlifting gloves and headed towards the bathroom!

Such is the level of excitement, laughter, focus and dedication that follows this amazing woman wherever she goes.

Stephanie Radtke Travis… It is with immense pride and admiration that we celebrate your incredible achievement of moving up the ranks to become a Workout Hero Beast.

Of course, since they are such an important part of your journey, your cute kiddos achieved this distinguished honor as well!

Your journey has been nothing short of inspirational, marked by unwavering dedication, relentless hard work, and an unyielding passion for both fitness and your family.

Your devotion to your two beautiful children is at the heart of everything you do. Every step you take towards losing weight, getting stronger, and becoming fitter is driven by your desire to be the best possible role model for them.

Your commitment to their well-being and your determination to show them the importance of perseverance and self-care is truly commendable.

You perfectly embody what it means to be a Workout Hero. If there is one animal that encapsulates your spirit, it would be the Phoenix.

In the past, you were a powerhouse, constantly working out and even conquering a half marathon.

Life, however, had other plans. The joys and challenges of motherhood, raising happy and healthy children, caring for your family, and excelling in your career as a special education teacher –

… demanded much of your time and energy.

Yet, like the mythical Phoenix, you have risen from the ashes with a fiery vengeance, reclaiming your strength and fitness with unparalleled determination.

Your consistent presence at the Workout Hero Club, your passionate approach to every workout, and your remarkable progress are a testament to your inner strength.

You are already feeling the strongest you ever have, and we see the transformation as your body sheds extra weight and replaces it with newfound strength and confidence.

Your journey is proof that with the right heart, drive, and environment, dreams can indeed become a reality.

(once you go to the bathroom before your deadlifts, of course)

You have not accepted the hand life dealt your body.

Instead, with love in your heart, you fight on, honoring your loved ones and showing that it is possible to balance a busy life while achieving personal goals.

You’ve already made them better human beings. It is only a matter of time before you surpass your past self in terms of fitness, performance, and overall well-being.

I have 100% conviction and belief in you that it will happen. You will no longer live with the pain thinking “your best days are behind you.”

You’ll look back on this transformational time of your life and smile. Proud of yourself for the impact you had on your beautiful children when they see you as their Hero.

It’ll be part of your story you tell your loved grandchildren they give you when questions about your past come up. Being a mother to your children is your greatest accomplishment, and they, like you, light up the world with their radiant smiles.

Your sweetness, warmth, and welcoming nature make you a beloved figure among the other Workout Heroes. Even though you haven’t grown up in this area, you still seem to know “everybody”, and we are all blessed to know you and better because you’re in our lives.

Your favorite quote, "I don't use machines. I am one," perfectly embodies your spirit.

I have no doubt that it will grace one of our Workout Hero t-shirts someday, inspiring others as much as it inspires us.

Congratulations, Stephanie. You are a true Workout Hero Beast, and we are honored to have you as part of our community.

Keep soaring, Phoenix. Your new story has just begun.   Your awesome future, and your children’s awesome future, truly awaits!

Woooo, just reading that again gave me those feel-good chills, how about you?  It's why I love my fellow Workout Heroes, because they are special.

I don't make they special...

... they already are, and it's my job as their Guide to simply reveal it.

Stephanie is having marvelous success in terms of losing weight,  slimming down,  while also gaining strength and muscles.

Probably most importantly though, gaining confidence, energy and health.  Here's a "secret" about her success I wish to share...  (don't tell anyone, okay?)

There's a line in our Workout Hero Manifesto that goes like this:

"To discover my greatness and truth in honor of those I love."

I am referring to the Workouts we do here as the way for the Workout Hero to discover those things within themselves.

Each workout is one more step towards that discovery.  One more step towards chucking off the old, and putting on the new, REAL you.

What makes Stephanie so amazing, and one of her "secrets" is that she consistently showed up to her workouts.

 Consistency is key.

Because I know her character and that big, beautiful heart of hers, it is safe to say that a big part of her staying so consistent with her workouts is because it's giving honor to her loved kiddos.

Yet another way for her to show them love. To be the best version of herself so that they get to experience that best version.

To be the role model and example for them so that they stay healthy and fit themselves.

It's why she wanted to take them on this journey of transformation with her.  Why she wanted them to receive certificates and acknowledges and to become fellow Workout Hero Beasts when she became one.

(if you seen the picture of them on Facebook, all 3 had certificates, its so cute!!)  It's what makes you, the Workout Hero, special.

You are specially adept at knowing what love is and the power of it.  Greatness, confidence and beauty are already within you, workouts are simply the way to reveal it.

Stephanie is such a great example of this and why she perfectly represents what it means to be a Workout Hero.  I've got to run so till our Paths cross again,

... know that as a Workout Hero, your awesome future awaits!

 Your Guide & biggest fan,
Mr Trainer man Erick
