Here comes tip #9 and it's a good one!...
"Let's not tire of doing good, at just the right time we will reap the harvest of blessing if we don't give up." -Galatians 6:9
There I was November of 2019, about to start yet another weight loss journey. For 6 years, from 2014 - till then end of 2019, it was one failed try after another... probably in the dozens if I was keeping track.
I wanted this time to be different. Our marriage wasn't doing the best. We were wanting to start a family but struggled with infertility issues. Me being 65 pounds overweight and having problems performing certainly didn't help.
So for the sake of our marriage, of the family we wanted to make, I did one thing of notable difference for this journey vs. all the other ones before...
... I asked God for help.
Much like a farmer prepares his soil, plants his seeds, and nurtures his crops -- but recognizes that certain elements, like the rain, are out of his control and left to God's will.
I did the same and asked God for strength and perseverance to carry me through this one.
Little did I know at the start, but it was God's help that made all the difference in the world...
... because about 7 months in, I was ready to give up and quit.
I wasn't happy with my progress up to that point and was at a plateau.
But I could feel God's presence with me and Him telling me to keep going. It's a good thing I didn't quit either, because shortly after I discovered many of the breakthroughs that now make up my overall Workout Hero Transformation Strategy...
... and a few months later finally transformed from chubby hubby to the hot hubby my wife deserved...
... which eventually led to our treasured baby Kason being born!
Which is why I love this Galatians 6:9 verse from the Bible. "Let's not tire of doing good, at just the right time we will reap the harvest of blessing if we don't give up."
It's a verse that applies to a lot of areas in our life, and especially our health and fitness.
Let's end this email letters there, shall we?
Remember, God's got your back in this realm and wants to see you succeed, so fear not in asking Him for help and strength.
May He bless your fitness journey
