In case you aren’t on Facebook, or happened to miss it…
… I posted today about how the unstoppable Jeni joined her bestie, Ashley, in becoming a Workout Hero BEAST
I’m going to share what I wrote there — then elaborate a bit on it in this letter here since you’re like in the “insider’s club” —
Here’s that post:
Jeni Gronemus joins her Ashley Rueth bestie to become an OFFICIAL Workout Hero Club BEAST!!
Super proud of this UNSTOPPABLE woman and this whole post could be filled with pagefuls of all the excellent qualities about her! But here is just a smidget…
-So giving, so unselfish, hard working, tough, caring, modest, honest and sweet.
-Incredibly strong inside and out
-Never a bad thing to say about anyone else…
…Quite the opposite, in fact
– with compliments galore and good things to give to others whenever she can!
Including her glowing smile that is so powerful at putting you in a good mood.
And that’s just what I witnessed from her fitness side!
She’s a total pro at all her other roles and passions she excels at — including raising a beautiful family and having an accomplished career!
I first started training her about 10 years ago and could tell right away here was a special one. Alas, life took our paths in different directions BUT…
… i feel beyond blessed and thrilled that a few strange “twists of fate” have our paths reunited again!
And She’s just getting started too!
Good thing you wear your cool shades when you run, Jeni, because your future is beautifully bright!
Like her fellow workout bestie BEAST Ashley, you perfectly encapsulate what it means to be a Workout Hero.
Also, like Ashley, you may be a super sweet outside of the gym, but you’re now officially a BEAST in it!
The part I’m going to elaborate on here and now is me saying how Jeni & Ashley perfectly encapsulate what it means to be a Workout Hero.
That’s not just ‘hyperbole‘ (i just got done sitting here thinking for about 3 minutes waiting for my brain to come up with that word as it was escaping me! 😂)
What it means to be a Workout Hero is built into the DNA & foundation of Workout Hero Club’s existence with our Workout Hero Manifesto.
I’m going to share that Manifesto with you here — but it is not meant to be public.
Not meant to be on display somewhere online or on our website for all to see.
It is meant only for those that walk through our doors.
To speak to the ones that are meant to be here and repel the rest.
For those that were meant to be a Workout Hero and I feel Called to serve.
This Manifesto took hours to write but YEARS of it bouncing through my head coming from hundreds of other inspirations and experiences.
I heard a parable one time something along these lines:
A young oak tree asks a 50 year old oak tree how to get as big and strong as he is.
“Live 50 years,” replied the elder oak tree.
I had to go through the things I went through and experience the the things I experienced, good or bad, so that I could create this Manifesto.
Agonized over every word because I knew the power it would have.
The power it had in first transforming ME. Now I wish to have it help others.
Without further adieu, here is that Manifesto now:
Today I begin my new life as a Workout Hero.
A Workout Hero is the fit, confident, courageous and strong person inside of me yearning to be set free.
I shed my old identity, which has for far too long suffered me the wounds of mediocrity, mistakes and frustrations.
I greet this workout with love in my heart. It is how I honor those that matter to me. Love is my weapon and shield towards the evil that wishes them harm.
I will persevere until I succeed because I am brave and a Workout Hero always finds a way.
I am a fighter. My enemies underestimate me. They have no idea how powerful I will become.
I take action on what I can control. I am stronger than my excuses.
No insidious force can stop me.
I don’t have to be perfect. Just be good enough most of the time.
Workouts are my friend. Never leaves. Never freaks out on me. Always something to give…
… a way to make me a better version of myself. To discover my greatness and truth in honor of those I love.
I am a Workout Hero and my awesome future awaits!
That’s what it means to be a Workout Hero.
That’s what Jeni & Ashley perfectly represent (well, aside from the part where they make mistakes — because I think them too angelic, smart and perfect to ever make mistakes 😉)
They are fighters.
Are courageous and brave.
Aim to be the best versions of themselves.
They take action on what they can control.
Don’t listen to the excuses.
They always find a way (even when Ashley is down to 1 arm and 1 butt! — You’ll have to ask her about that next time you see her! )😂
They bring honor to those that matter to them. Use their unstoppable Love as their weapon and shield towards the evil that wishes them harm.
I’m just so proud for these two, proud to be their trainer and Guide (even though they are so accomplished already that they don’t need much “guidance”…
… mostly just directing their awesome FURY in a good direction! )😀
With that, I need to let you go, my fellow Workout Hero, I think my son is about to wake up from nap time.
Honored to fight this good fight with you towards your worthy cause,
Your Guide & biggest fan,
Erick
P.S.
If the words in our Manifesto spoke to you and you want to start your own Workout Hero journey and move up the ranks…
… becoming the best version of yourself with each accomplished workout…
… scheduling your “No Sweat Intro” is where it begins for you.
P.P.S.
“Just a little change
small to say the least
Both a little scared
Neither one prepared
Beauty and the BEAST”
